28 TUESDAY - MARCH 1972
TUESDAY IN HOLY WEEK - 88th DAY - 278 DAYS TO COME
Call from Phil Orbanes. He thinks I should get together with
Herb Hochstetter and asked me to call him. They
decided that when I, or Phil, or both of us, worked
on an idea from Herb, Andy Davis, the lawyer who
works with all of them, will decide on the split of the
royalties. Phil says that he will lean over backwards
to be fair to everybody.
Called Herb and he will be over Friday for lunch.
{Herb Hochstetter
{[phone number omitted for privacy]
In the talk with Phil he mentioned that Herb had
an idea for a SHUFFLEBOARD variation.
Also there is a possibility the NINE OF SWORDS may be
repackaged with the swords loose, getting away from
the retailers objections to swords being pulled out.
Call form Earl Perel. He had more ideas for COLD WAR but
I told him that I really was putting it aside until
I have need for it again. Spoke a little about 4000 AD.
Told him I'd contact him as soon as I saw the people
at N.Y.U. on Thursday.
Rcd. a letter from Walter Dykoski of Strato-Various saying that
2 STRATO TAC-TICS and 1 STRATO CHECKERS were being sent.
Rcd. a copy of MOVES (#1). I already picked one up at the
Skunk Works.
Sandra Garson called and asked to change the date tomorrow.
[((Tomorrow)) is written between the lines above and has arrows pointing to the next two lines.]
Made it Friday at 3:30.
Rcd. the revised N.Y. State forms for 1969 and 1970 from
Leonard Willett. He'll bill me for the extra work when I
start getting refunds. I realized that part of the money
was from AGOG. I called him and he suggested that I write
him a letter about it. We'll inform I.R.S but not now as
things will get hopelessly confused if we put in another form now.
Bob Hallowell called. He'd like me to bring the rules for p. & p. games
to Fred Feucht tomorrow. Told him I'd be in town
Thursday. I'll bring them then.
Wrote up the rules for FENCES. BB didn't find them clear
and we went over some of the points and then I decided I
had to rewrite them.
