11 SATURDAY - MARCH 1972
71ST DAY - 295 DAYS TO COME
Rcd. a letter addressed to "A Gamut of Games Inc.", at this address.
It is from
{Joel Joseph
{[address]
{Washington, D.C. 20009
"I have developed a game. Please send me the procedure for
submitting thr game to you for consideration." I'll bring it to
"A Gamut of Games."
Rcd. some pages from a catalog with various templates from
Jerry Fredrick. (Filed in '72 misc.)
Phoned Leonard Willett with the amount of the Major Medical
payment last year.
Played MASTERPIECE with Phil, Annette, and BB. Used my new
rules. Good - altho - I had some lousy luck.
(cont. below)
(cont. from 3/10) [3/10]
home late on the 20th, with Xerox of course paying all my
expenses.
(Saturday Cont.) [3/11]
With Phil played SKYSCRAPERS trying a new idea. Each
player has two levels - one the low levels, the other the
high. Try to place them so that as many as possible of
your levels, each counted separately are together. For each
group of a level together score the number in the group times
the number minus 1. (Played O.K. but nothing to get excited about.)
(cont. from 3/14) [3/14]
Jack Davis gave her my number, but she said that she heard about
me wherever she went. She'll come here 3/29 to
interview me and see the collection.
Leonard Willett called. He checked thru my 1970 and 1969 returns
and figured that by reducing the deductions drastically and
taking capital gains I could save about $1000 and $800. He'll
check informally on the chances of success.
Working on the DIALEMMA game by myself. Decided the best
type of objective would be grouping similar to the puzzles,
such as 2-2-2-2-2, 1-2-3-4, etc. Have about 5 different
combinations and win by getting say, 3 or 4 of them. For 4 it
is better for each player to have 8 rather than 10 dials.
(cont. on 3/12)
