1 WEDNESDAY - MARCH 1972
61ST DAY - 305 DAYS TO COME
Frank Armbruster called. He'll come for lunch for tomorrow. We'll
talk about POTENTIAL. Also he has bought PEGITY from Parker
and would like to discuss my doing rules for it.
To Statler-Hilton Hotel. Stopped at Theme Productions, Inc. a
manufacturer of black ethnic games, Looked at their
game BEYOND EARTH (which wasn't ethnic incidentally). It
consists of a series of jigsaw puzzles with space pictures.
Get opportunities to place pcs. for answering questions and
for other things. (Very rough idea.) Didn't see
FEEL THE SOUL since only had empty boxes. Asked about
getting copies for Xerox exhibit. They asked me to write
to the president in Detroit about it.
To Learning Games Inc. Took a sheet on their QUICK MASTER CHESS
altho it is only a teaching device (Filed in '72 Misc.). They were
exhibiting PSYCHE-PATHS. I spoke to the president and asked
if they were handling the game. He has bought out the remaining
stock and would like to handle it exclusively, but the inventor's
agent hasn't decided yet. Their company is a subsidiary
of "American Cuisenaire."
To Malmurph and picked up copies of BACK-COURT and BLUE-LINE.
To Felicias's. She was depressed [Illegible crossed out.]
To Strato Various Products! Spoke to Walter Dykosi again. Gave
him a copy of S & T (#28, I believe). Also told him about
the Xerox exhibit. He'll have his P.R. man contact me.
He was telling me about having a whole series of games
using the basic board in the works.
Stopped at Small Wonders a few times but didn't catch Tom Atwater
there. Asked Joyce Swayze to say I stopped by.
To Felicia. Depressed because CHECK POINT bounced at Hallmark
and CAR TRAVEL GAME was down $40 from last year.
PSYCHE-PATHS also bounced at Hallmark, but she'll place it
with Learning Games. They do very well in schools she said.
I promised to get BALI in the Xerox exhibit; the new packaging.
Asked Felicia where to get games for the exhibit from
Dynamic Design. She said to contact Herb Roth. He wasn't
in and I got his phone number from information.

Joyce Swayze supposed to be there for lunch and to look at things.
Didn't make it. Felicia called and she was too busy. Felicia got
lunch for me, Lillian Voegelin, and herself.
To 5th Ave. Bldg. To "Tinkertoys" again but Howard Sussman was
busy. I'll try in the Bronx next week.
To R.G.I. Bob Gellman said that sales had been going pretty
well. Henry Levy of Brentano's at first said that S & R had
