31 MONDAY - JANUARY 1972
FIRST U.S. SATELLITE 1958 - 31ST Day - 335 DAYS TO COME
Felicia called. She rcd. a report from 3M on IMAGE - much
better than she expected. No word yet on my games.
[Illegible crossed out] Dorothy Shapiro tells her that MOVIE MOGULS,
GODFATHER GAME, SLEUTH and EXECUTIVE DECISION are doing well.
No word from Keith Tuggle about receiving Lillian Voegelin's
GAME or my FOREIGN INTRIGUE.
2nd call from Felicia. What is MOVIE MOGULS like? There may
be some kind of an article in a Time-Life publication, but she
can't tell me the details.
HAT IN THE RING is bombing. Only Brentano's will take it.
Told her I have the clipping from the HACKENSACK RECORD. Schulman never sent clippings to her that he promised.
3rd call from Felicia. She asked me about AQUARIUS 2000 and
Carl Eisenberg. (Why?) Told her I believe he is now
with Hoi Polloi.
Told her I'd drop in tomorrow when I bring in my column,
to sign the HOLIDAY contract.
Call from Earl. I may go to his house tomorrow evening.
He thinks that Claude is getting sick because he is not able to
finish up his "information" GAME from 3M.
I mentioned that HOLIDAY is being put out by R.G.I. He remembers
seeing an article, possibly in the "New Yorker", that the head of
R.G.I. was peddling games on the street to raise money.
Working on my column for S & T #31. Wrote up
WHO CAN BEAT NIXON?, and most of MR. PRESIDENT.

look at it. If he liked it one of his manufacturers would do it.
Called Abraham Silber about the "Capital Gains" material
and the wrong 1099 form from 3M. I'm to send him
copies of the "Capital Gains" material and get in touch
with 3M about the 1099.
Rcd. THE GAMESLETTER (#32, Jan. '72). In the review
of S & T issues #23 to #29, Don said that my column was the best his favorite.
